Everything is OK

After a long process it's been confirmed that it wasn't used, they were just lazy and used another disk image instead of installing the entire OS + drivers, apps etc from various media... anyway, since then I reformatted and more or less happily running Windows 7 beta so it's all right now. :)

Next step: I'll update to the latest dev Win 7 to see if there's any development in the very annoying Atheros-wakeup issue...

M912M shipped, arrived and I am... baffled!

My new Gigabyte M912M arrived on the weekend - and unfortunately it was obviously already opened and used by someone earlier as state of the OS (Windows XP Home), file dates, the presence of a pirated (!) copy of MS Office 2003 Professional, WInRAR etc all attest it.
You can imagine how pissed I was...:(

Once we solved this case with my seller I will start posting, stay tuned.
